Hi! You may know me as Crystal Webb or perhaps as See Double You.

Born and based in Melbourne I have a ‘Bachelor of Design in Communication Design’ which is apparently how you say ‘I’m a qualified graphic designer’ these days.

I scribbled a nice picture once and my mum thought we should really hone in on my artistic abilities, which is strange for a Filipino mother – I’m still astounded I was never forced to be a nurse.

I was enrolled in art classes from ages 7 to 14 and growing up I was pegged as the arty kid at school. So when it came time for me to get a job it made sense for me to work in art & craft retail, which I did for 9 years. During this period I learned a lot about different creative mediums and processes whilst collecting heaps of materials.

I have an affinity for tangibility – I love pencils, pens, paint and paper. I prefer to create design solutions by hand specialising in typography and illustration, but I am more than happy to work digitally.

When I’m not designing you’ll probably catch me roller skating, dancing or dying my hair (and my bathroom) a new colour.
